Welcome Teams to the 2022-23 Winter Season of Ball Hockey.
The Langley Hockey House is proud to bring you a full length Winter season of Ball Hockey.
CAPTAINS MEETING 2022/23 :
Tuesday September 6th 2022 Captains meeting 7:00pm start time.
- Meeting is held at the arena. ( The Hockey House )
- Meeting will start at 7:00pm sharp, please be on time.
- One member of each team MUST attend.
Season Details 2022-23:
( final number of games will be based on final number of teams registered to the league for the season )
16-18 - Regular Season games included in your Fall winter 2022-23 season
+ Playoffs ( 2 games guaranteed )
18 - 27 games on the season depending on performance.
Playoffs Format:
Best of 3 Games Series*.
Game 3 is a 10 min MINI Game.
Season Dates 2021/22 :
September 10th / 11th 2022, first regular season game
March 12th Target date to complete season. ( March 19th if additional weekend is needed )
Hockey Dates :
You will have games on these dates.
Halloween weekend, we play the whole weekend. ( October 29+30 2022 )
Thanksgiving weekend, we do not play Sunday Night
December 25-26 No hockey this weekend.
January 1-2 No Hockey this weekend
Super Bowl weekend, we do not play on Sunday.
Grey Cup weekend, we play the whole weekend.
Family Day weekend, we play the whole weekend.
Game Times :
Hockey will be played on :
- Saturday's 9am Start time, Midnight Finish.
- Sunday's 11am Start time, 11 pm Finish
( Late night games 10pm and 11pm's will be divided equally. Everyone will get them )
Game Details :
All games are a 1 hour time slot.
5 min warm up
2X 22 min periods run time
Stop time last 2min of 2nd period within 2 goals
1:30 intermission
Cost for the season :
$ 3650.00 ( total due ) * this does not include your forfeit deposit
Must be paid in full at either the captains meeting or your first game.
( emails will be sent to teams once registered for specific payment instructions )
The Hockey House accepts- Cash, Debit, Visa, M/C ( we do not accept cheques or E-Transfers )
FORFEIT / Fine DEPOSIT :
$500.00 All Teams MUST pay a forfeit/fine deposit of $500 in cash to be able to participate.
This money is NOT part of your league fee's.
It is returned to you at the end of the season if you don't have any forfeits.
Any team who forfeits a game will also forfeit $250 to the team who lost their game.
Refund Policy for the 2022-23 Season:
League fees collected by the hockey house are a non refundable payment.
Only In the event of a forced / mandatory closure of the facility.
The Hockey House will refund teams $150.00 X the number of regular season games missed in the season.
All payable refunds will be issued Approx. March 15th 2023 at what would be the completion date of the season.
Number of teams in the League :
At this time we have Max. room for 55 teams to participate in the Fall Winter Season.
Number of PLayers per game :
Teams are able to dress a Maximum of 15 players and 1 goalie per game. ( no exceptions )

TEAM UNIFORMS
All teams will be expected to have a FULL set of matching jerseys for the start of the season.
- Jerseys must be the same colour ” no more light blue and dark blue as (blue)” ( no rainbow teams )
- All Jerseys must have a proper number on the back. ” no hockey tape numbers”
- Any teams in need of Jerseys for the year we are happy to help with purchase or rental of a set. “inquire within”
Divisions Available :
We offer Men's League Division's To accommodate all skill sets of players.
When playoffs come we offer - A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I Divisions.

League Restrictions 2022/23 :
All Men's Ball Hockey League players must be 18 years of age or older in order to participate. Born in 2004 or earlier.
Female players must play in the women's league or Co-Ed League only.

The Hockey House is always happy to help new players find a team to join. At this time we are asking all players who need a team to complete the free agent registration form. We will forward the free agent forms to team captains who are looking to complete their rosters.
